Our Story With French–African Fusion Roots

Hello Sidharta,

For over 25 years in the Unites States, In 2003 I opened my first business, Florence of Paris hair extensions salon, and I serviced loyal clientele for over 20 years and it seems back then like a normal transition to open my beauty school , Professional School of Beauty Fashion & Arts in 2010. 



It is scary to start all over again in a totally different field : The food industry. It might be a new venture with "ChicChef4U" Rotisserie chicken, appetizers, sides dishes, soups and drinks, but I remember back in the days, in Cameroon, waking up at 5:00 am to go fetch water carrying my bucket on my head, afterwards going to the field to harvest cassava leaves and cassava roots or yuca roots, plantains, sugar cane, cooking for all my family before walking to school. That was my early upbringing, I didn't know any better and i was a good child to my mother. That upbringing made me strong and responsible at a very young age and gave me a sense of purpose.

To start this new journey, I am drawing inspiration from my source and my roots since childhood in Cameroon, my young adulthood life in Paris France and my current life here in the Unites States. Living in Reseda California, my neighborhoods are predominantly Latino, Vietnamese and middle Eastern. All this influence is reigniting fond memories that I let dormant until now, feeling like coming back "homes".

Your influences are hanging on your feet like additional roots strengthening your posture and won't let go until you understand that it's a big chunk of your life or your story and your journey.
